The Seniors' Group was the idea of former Club President John Pfeiffer.
In the fall of 1981, Walter Hirschberg and Emmerich Hollitsch were given
the job recruiting interested, retired club members to come to a founders'
meeting. On October 7 of that same year, 24 men and women met to bring
this group into being.
Every first and third Thursday of the month, the group meets at the club for a friendly get-together. Every club member who has reached his 60th birthday is welcome to join the group.
